Watching the Carolina Hurricanes and the Washington Capitals was incredible and was managed perfectly and exceeded all my expectations from a sports perspective and as a wonderful spectacular event to absorb and watch! They were not checking parking passes, they had no one directing traffic, and as a result there was parked traffic for miles in an arena that normally has free flowing traffic for events.

However with the NHL running it, it was absolute chaos.

These two groups do multiple events weekly at the size and capacity and traffic flow works great. However the NHL should have consulted with PNC/Carter Finely/RPD to run crowd control.
